WELCOME TO THE PRAYER ROOM
THANKS FOR JOINING PRAYER TODAY, WE ARE GLAD YOU ARE HERE!
This room is a set apart place for the presence of God. We believe God is living and chooses to presence himself in special ways where He is welcomed. The prayer room is dedicated to ministry to the Lord before ministry to one another. As you enter the prayer room please honor this space and the people in it. We hope that as you join us you will encounter His beautiful face.

You can expect to find a prayer team and worship leader facilitating the room. These facilitators are present to minister to the Lord and help everyone engage with what He is doing during the prayer set. Our facilitators are not always on the stage, but you will be able to identify them by the handheld microphones they have in order to lead.
The first hour and a half of our sets are dedicated to thanksgiving and worship. The last half an hour is focused on intercession for the greater Seattle area.
We use prayer, musical worship, silence and scripture reading throughout each set as we minister to the Lord and intercede.

We ask that, as you participate in the prayer room, you honor the leadership of our facilitators. They are being trained in how to biblically lead in this space and are present to carry the culture of Adoration House. They are actively working to follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit as well as submit to one another.
We invite you to join in our culture of “praying in unity”. This means that when a prayer or song is brought into the corporate, we encourage everyone in the room to listen and continue to pray in unity with the theme being prayed for already. This can feel repetitive, but we see this as agreement instead of “repeating”.
We encourage you to participate in the corporate prayer theme by approaching one of our prayer team members to request the microphone from them. After you finish your prayer, please return the microphone to the team member. If you have additional questions of how to join in, feel free to ask them.
Lastly, but most important. This is a space for you to bring yourself before the Lord. Please feel free to move around the room, pray and sing in freedom as you join our goal of each heart in the room adoring Jesus. Direct your prayers and songs to Him, for He listens.
-
We ask that you withhold from approaching others during the prayer set. If you would like to pray for someone we would love to have you do this before or after a set. However, we ask that during the two hour time of worship and prayer we honor one another by allowing each other to focus on connection with Jesus first.
We ask that you only enter the prayer room to participate in prayer. Please take all conversations outside or reserve them for the end of the prayer set.
Please be mindful of the length of your prayers when you do choose to pray into the microphone.
Please be mindful of how loudly you pray when it is not into the microphone. We welcome your audible prayers and worship throughout the time but want to make sure the volume level doesn’t overpower those who are facilitating the room.
